Play With My Dog is operated by The Snake School LLC, doing business as Play With My Dog. We only collect what we need to care for your dog and run our business, and we never sell your information.

What we collect

• Contact details: your name, phone number, email, and address, and the dog owner's details if you book for someone else.
• About your dog: name, breed, age, health information, vaccinations, behavior, and veterinarian.
• Home access details: keys, lockbox or door codes, alarm instructions, and house rules.
• Payment details: handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We see the last four digits and expiration date of your card, but never your full card number.
• Photos and videos taken during visits for your recaps.
• Website information: basic, anonymous information about how people use our website, such as pages visited.

How we use it

• To schedule and provide visits and lessons, and to keep your dog safe.
• To send visit recaps, reminders, and invoices, to you and to any family members you ask us to include.
• To take payments and keep business records.
• To respond to your questions and improve our service.

Who we share it with

Only the people and services that help us do our job:

• Your assigned visitor, backup visitor, and trainer, who need your dog and home details.
• Service providers that run parts of our business, such as Stripe for payments and the services we use for email, text messages, and booking forms. They may only use your information to provide their service to us.
• Your veterinarian or an emergency vet, if your dog needs care during a visit.
• Authorities, if the law requires it.

We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't share it for advertising.

Keeping it safe

Home access details are shared only with the team members who visit your home, and only for as long as they need them. Payment information stays with Stripe. When you stop using our services, we delete home access details and keep only the records we need for taxes and our business.

Photos and videos

Visit photos and videos are sent to you as recaps. We won't post them publicly without your permission, and we never share your address.

Your choices

• Ask us to see, correct, or delete the information we have about you.
• Stop receiving marketing messages at any time. You'll still get messages about your visits and payments.
• Choose who receives visit recaps.

Children

Our services and website are for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

If we update this policy, we'll post the new version here with its effective date.
